Charles Hubert

Charles "Bub" Hubert, 50, passed away on June 10, 2023 at his home. Born on April 15, 1973, in Tell City, to Charles and Edna (Staats) Hubert, he was a devoted father, loving son, and caring brother. Bub was employed with Silver Maple Trucking, LLC. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking, boating, camping and was a car enthusiast, especially when it came to Mustangs. Bub also had a love for traveling and was particularly fond of cruises. He is survived by his parents, Charles and Edna Hubert, Tell City; his children, Nick, Vanessa, and Valerie Hubert, all of Tell City; his sister, Lisa Hubert, Owensboro, KY; nephew, Brandon Hubert, Louisville, KY; and the mothers of his children, Shannon McCallister and Kelly Allen. Charles is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Staats, Irene (Ermert) Heowner, and Edward and Anna (Gelhausen) Hubert. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 3:00-7:00 PM and Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 9:00-11:00 AM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CDT on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Pastor Dennis Eugene Bolin will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
