Catherine Myers, 82, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2024 at her home in Ferdinand.

She was born in Perry County on January 2, 1942, daughter of William and Susan (Hudson) Merkley.

Catherine was a 1960 graduate of Bristow High School.

Surviving is her daughter, Cynthia Harris and husband, John of Otwell; sisters, Terry Alexander (Warren), Rome and Darlene VanHoosier, St. Meinrad and her cat, Baby Girl.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Jerry Ray Myers in 2018 and brothers, Edward, Herman “Bud”, Raymond “Gary” and David Merkley.

Private burial will take place at Troy Cemetery at a later date.

Huber Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
