Catherine Kaufman

She was a graduate of Richland High School. Catherine married Edward Kaufman July 12, 1949 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Rockport. He passed away May 31, 2009. She retired from the Tell City Troy Township School Corporation in 1986 after being a cafeteria cook for Newman School and Tell City High School. Catherine was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca ""Becky"" Vincent, and her husband Denny, Mt. Vernon, sons, David Kaufman, and his wife Sue, Santa Claus, and Darrel Kaufman, and his wife Cindy, Tell City, sisters, Pauline Glotzbach, New Albany, and Dorothy Patten, Tell City, 9 grandchildren, Kelli Rainey, Kevin Vincent, Jill Stutsman, Laura Bennett, Sherri Edwards, Neal, Dale, Matt, and Kyle Kaufman, 14 great grandchildren, Alyssa, Ben, Madison, Hayden, Sammy Jo, Morgan, Sarah, Emily, Sean, Alec, Lewis, Eleanor, Justin, Chrissy and Tiffany. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at St. Paul Catholic church with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Duvelius will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday and from 8:30 until 9:45 AM on Wednesday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel.
