Carolyn Walters

Tell City, Indiana' Carolyn L. Walters, 88, passed away March 30, 2016 at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Tell City, Indiana, July 12, 1927, daughter of the late John and Sally (Kessner) Amos. Also preceding her in death was her husband Eddie Walters, daughter, Angela Rose Walters, brothers, Walter "Boob" Amos and Robert Amos, sisters, Ruth Hinton, Helen Miller, Joyce Mulzer and Rosalie Henning. Carolyn was a1945 graduate of Tell City High School. She was employed by Hinton's Store and later retired from General Electric in 1987. Carolyn was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ, Perry County Hospital Auxiliary, and American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, traveling, walking, fishing, working with flowers and watching birds and wildlife. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 6:00 PM Saturday and from noon until service time on Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to Evangelical United Church of Christ or American Cancer Society.
