Carolyn Frizzell

Tell City, Indiana - Carolyn G. (Roeder) Frizzell, 73, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012, at Oakwood Health Campus. She was born in Evansville, Indiana, on August 11, 1939. Her parents were the late Elmer and Lolan (Kirkpatrick) Roeder. A Central High School graduate, Carolyn married Ed Frizzell on February 6, 1959, in Evansville. Carolyn was a member of Troy United Methodist Church and Red Hat Society. She enjoyed traveling. In 2005, she retired from Lincoln Hills Development Corporation where she had worked for 23 years. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Ed Frizzell; sons, Randy Frizzell, Jacksonville, Florida and Greg Frizzell, Carthage, Tennessee; sisters, Linda Strahl, Fort Myers, Florida and Sandra Voyles, Evansville, Indiana; grandsons, Brad Frizzell, Eric Frizzell and Jeremy Kempf; step grandchildren, Jenny Barrett and John Payne. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Monday, November 12, 2012, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday and from 8:30 AM until service time on Monday. Rev. Bill Reid will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Troy United Methodist Church.
