Carlton Voyles

Cannelton, Indiana Carlton R. Voyles, 77, passed away August 12, 2018 at Golden Living Center in Tell City. He was born in Hancock County, Kentucky on January 25, 1941 to the late Forrest and Katie (Craft) Voyles. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Clara Mae Voyles, a sister, Betty Jean Voyles in infancy and a brother, James Roger Voyles. Carlton was a 1959 graduate of Hawesville High School. He retired from Schwab Safe Co. and had also worked for Tell City Chair Company. Carlton enjoyed watching westerns, working on small engine repair and making model cars. Surviving are his brothers, Charles Voyles (Mahala), Hawesville, KY and David Voyles (Naomi Caton), Henderson, KY and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CST Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Burial will follow in New Cliff Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 AM -1:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
