"Buck" Marvin Lane

Tell City, Indiana - "Buck" Marvin A. Lane, 66, passed away January 4, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville. He was born April 16, 1950 to the late Marvin, Sr. and Wanda (Persinger) Lane. Also preceding him in death are sisters, Debbie Cronin and Mary Jane Lane; brothers, Joe and Sam Lane; infant grandson, Kevin Lane, Jr. Buck retired from Owensboro Coal Dock where he was a heavy machine operator. He was a talented mechanic that could fix anything and a family man. Surviving are his children, Kevin Lane (Tina), Thomas Lane, Marvin Lane, Jr. and Angela Lane; sister, Kathy Duke; brothers, Tom, Raymond (Nancy), Steve, Richard (Tammy) and Mark Lane; sister-in-law, Opal Lane; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM CST Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton. Burial will follow in New Cliff Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from Noon until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
