Brian Payne

Tell City, Indiana Brian Keith Payne, 54, passed away on July 28, 2022 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital surrounded by love and support. He was born in Lakewood, Ohio on April 30, 1968. Brian is survived by his loving wife, Angela Payne. They were united in marriage on January 28, 1995. Brian was a huge fan of The Ohio State, especially football. Go Buckeyes! He loved to fish, collect and trade antique fishing tackle, NASCAR and playing the drums. But most of all, Brian loved being a Papaw. Surviving is his wife, Angela Payne, Tell City; children, Jessica Schultz, Nashville, TN and Justin Hinton, Taswell, IN; his mother, Susie (Mullins) Chapman, Tell City; a sister, Rhonda Payne, Tell City, niece, Brianna Brickey, and his beloved grandchildren, Caden, Conner, Carley Hinton and Julian Schultz. Preceding him in death was his father, Jack L. Payne and brother, Frank Mullins. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CDT on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Pastor Randy McNeely will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Santa Claus. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial contributions can be made to the family.
