Tell City, Indiana –
Brian M. Kelly Ducote, 49, passed away on March 1, 2025, after a brave battle with cancer.
Born in Biloxi, Mississippi, on July 25, 1975, Brian was a man who embraced life to the fullest. He built a successful career as a technical service representative for International Paint, a job he took great pride in.
Brian shared a deep and unwavering love with his wife, Mary, his partner through life’s joys and challenges. Their bond was filled with laughter, adventure, and an unbreakable commitment. Whether traveling, celebrating with loved ones, or simply enjoying quiet moments together, they gave each other strength and comfort during the challenging times. The beautiful life they built will forever be cherished.
Brian was a devoted father to his three daughters, Hope, Charity, and Christian. He treasured every moment with them, giving guidance, sharing laughter, and creating lasting memories. His love was unconditional, his pride immeasurable, and his legacy of kindness and strength will live on in their hearts. He also embraced his role as a stepfather to Ryan and Brett, welcoming them into his life with love. Brian adored his six grandchildren and was a proud, funny, Papaw. Brian was known as the life of the party, always bringing energy, laughter, and good times to every gathering. He enjoyed time with family and friends, whether grilling out, being at the beach, or traveling to attend the annual Indiana “Squirrel Camp” with his friends. And when it came to Alabama football, his passion was undeniable. “Roll Tide!” was more than just a phrase, it was a part of who he was.
Brian’s generosity and friendship knew no bounds. His Faith was strong, he loved hard, prayed hard and enjoyed listening to the Bible while driving to work. He never met a stranger, always the first to lend a hand or share a laugh; his kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew him. He made the world a brighter place by just being in it.
Brian is survived by his loving wife, Mary, children, Hope Decker (Brian), Charity Addison (Ray), and Christian Kelly; stepchildren, Ryan and Brett Steed; grandchildren, Adelaide, Brian, Micah, Liam, Elijah, and Bentley; mother, Frances Marston (Gary); siblings, Jennifer Kelly, Paul Ducote (Lena), David Marston (Sarah), Jennifer Lopez (Marcus), and Matthew Radcliffe (Kristi); and in-laws, Mary and Archie Harrison, along with several aunts, uncles, and family members.

Brian’s laughter, love, and bright spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His memory will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
