Tell City, Indiana Brian Gayer, 57, passed away June 21, 2011 at his home. He was born December 7, 1953 in Tell City son of the late Karl Gayer and Mary Evelyn (Smith) Gayer who survives. A 1971 graduate of Perry Central High School, he was the owner and operator of Gayer Farms, Inc. Brian was united in marriage December 10, 1992 to the former Robbie Neifert who survives. He loved to spend time at home with his family playing croquet and loved to play euchre. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Robbie Gayer, Tell City; his mother, Evelyn Gayer, Rome; daughters, Michelle Galey (Ernie Wallace), Tell City, Brandi Johnson (Mike), Owensboro and Clair Whitehouse (Ross), Tell City; sons, Wyatt Gayer (Rachael), Daytona Beach, Florida and Clint Gayer (Samantha), Tell City; grandchildren, Tyler Galey, Hayli Pate, T.J. Pate, Olivia Whitehouse and Emma Whitehouse. A ""Party"" at Brian's shop, 6785 French Ridge Road, rural Tell City, will be held from 2:00 until 6:00 PM on Saturday, June 25, 2011, where his family and friends can gather to share memories and good times they've shared with Brian over the years. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Perry County Humane Society.
