Bonnie Lain

Bonnie J. Lain, 85, passed away on December 29, 2020. She was born in Hancock County, Kentucky on September 25, 1935 to Fila and Anna (Nix) Sanders. On February 26, 1966, she married Harry Ray Lain in Cannelton. She retired from the Swiss Haus where she was a waitress and enjoyed feeding birds and working puzzle books. Survivors include her step daughter, JoAnn Sosh (Kenny), Tell City; grandchildren, Heather Horsting, Christina Bodkins, Nathan Sosh and Jaron Sosh; half- brother, Terry Sanders, Hawesville, Kentucky and a half sister, Wilma Price, Pasacugla, Mississippi and half brother, Terry Sanders (Linda), Hawesville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Heather Horsting, Christina Lane, Nathan Sosh and Jaron Sosh and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry Ray Lain, in 1989; step son, Carl Ray Lain; sister, Wanda Goatley and brother, William Sanders. Private burial will take place in New Cliff Cemetery. There will be no visitation at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel.
