Branchville, Indiana Bobby Jean Pollard, 78, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Owensboro Medical Health Systems. She was born in Tell City, June 12, 1932, daughter of the late Marvin and Mary Eva (Adams) Gaither. Bobby Jean was also preceded in death by her husband Randall E. Pollard in 2002. They had been married for over 50 years. Bobby retired as cook in 1997 after working at Perry Central School Corp., Camp Koch and Nobles IGA. She was a member of Lilly Dale Church of Christ, a former member of Branchville Home Economics Club and a former 4-H leader. Bobby Jean enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, traveling and spending time with her family. She is survived by daughters; Pam Guillaume (John), Tell City, Jeannie Williams (Brian), Mt. Pleasant, and Bev Alvey (Doug, Jr.) Tell City, sons, Larry Pollard (Erika), Branchville, and Mike Pollard (Susie), Ft. Wayne; sister, Suzie Huck (Paul), Tell City, 5 grandchildren; Matthew Williams (Shana), Patrick Williams (Amber), Christopher Pollard, Daniel and Madison Alvey; step-mother, Eva Lee Gaither, Tell City ; step-grandchildren, Erick Taylor and Ruthann Novak, step-great grandchildren; Nikki and Dakota Novak and several nieces and nephews.. Funeral services will be at 11:30 AM Friday, March 18, 2011, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Walker Cemetery in Branchville. Bro. Eddie Olberding will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Walker Cemetery.
