Tell City, Indiana Bobbie J. Kellems, 79, passed away December 6, 2017 at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City. She was born September 5, 1938 to the late Homer D. Maxwell, I and Eva Mae (Bagley) Maxwell. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Everett "Weasel" Kellems in 1989; son Timothy Wade Kellems; brother, Frank James Maxwell; and son-in-law, Paul Anastasiades. Bobbie was proud to have earned her bachelor's degree at the age of 60, from Mary Hardin Baylor University in Belton, Texas. She retired as teacher's assistant at Lott Elementary School. Bobbie was a member of Lott Baptist Church and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed playing bingo and painting. Surviving are her children, Tommy Kellems (Wilma), Cannelton, Terry L. Kellems (Christie), Beech Island, SC, Todd Kellems, Tell City, Tammy Kellems and Tina Anastasiades, both of Tell City; a sister, Shirley Jolly, Lott, TX; brothers, Homer D. Mawell, II and Jimmy Maxwell, both of New Braunfels, TX; 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. CST on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Rev. Barry Fields will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00-7:00 P.M. and Saturday 9:00-11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
