Bob Sims

Tell City, Indiana Robert "Bob" Sims, 73, passed away March 6, 2022 at Golden Living Center in Tell City. He was born June 12, 1948 in Tell City to George V. "Joe" and Carrie E. "Betty" Sims. Bob was a 1966 graduate of Tell City High School and was a United States Navy veteran who served in Vietnam. He had been a foreman at Swiss Plywood and retired from Kimbell. Surviving is his daughter, Courtney Corcoran (James) of Bonita, CA; grandchildren, J.D., Dakota and Taylor Corcoran; a brother, Larry Sims (Monnie), Tell City; sister, Barbara Yackle (Gerald), Tell City; nieces and nephews and friend, Cindy Troutman, Tell City. Preceding him in death were his parents and two children, Christopher and Robert, in infancy. There will be no services at this time. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel is handling arrangements.
