Billie Thomas

Billie Ann Thomas, 83, passed away on July 13, 2021. She was born in Carbon Glow, Kentucky to Thelma (Dunn) and Rex Cole on November 17, 1937. Billie Ann retired in 1993 from RCA Victor after 29 years of service. She enjoyed flower gardening and reading. Surviving are her children, Joni Dixon (Stanley), Clearfield, KY and Tim Arnold (Robyn Bryant), Tell City; sisters, Phyllis Mitchell, Gadsden, AL and Susan Miller (Steve), Mt. Sterling, KY; a brother, Clifton Cole, Whitesburg, KY; grandchildren, Effie Jane Arnold, Marty and Zachary Arnold; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David L. Thomas; son, Manford "Buddy" Arnold, Jr.; sister, Jackie Butcher and Marquetta Lokai and brothers, Doug, Fred, Buddy and Sherman Cole. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CDT on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Billie Ann's daughter, Joni Dixon will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Derby. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00-7:00 PM and Friday 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
