Beulah James

Cannelton, Indiana Polly James, 67, passed away December 27, 2018 at the VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born in Perry County, Indiana on April 5, 1951 to the late Wilbur and Emma Lee (Hook) Applegate. Also preceding her in death were brothers, Wilbur, Frankie, Paul and Chuck Applegate. Polly was an Army veteran. She was united on marriage on October 9, 1999 to Jerry James, who survives. Polly enjoyed playing games on her computer and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving is her husband, Jerry James, Cannelton; her children, Larry Dorrough, Tulsa, OK, Sharon Wheeler (Jerry) and Mary Claise (Denny), all of Cannelton, Paul James (Shannon Payne), Gatchel and Kristie Underhill (Steve), Doolittle Mills; grandchildren, Katie, Zoey, Robby, Tabitha, William, Bryce, David, Brayden and Blayre; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary James (Larry) and Eva Vogt (Randy), all of Cannelton; brothers, Daniel Applegate (Samantha) and James Applegate (Peggy), all of Cannelton. Visitation will be from 1:00-6:00PM CST on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel.
