Beulah Buchanan

Tell City, Indiana Beulah M. "Boots" Buchanan, 90, passed away on July 3, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Tell City, Indiana to Alma (Webb) and Charles Huck on November 13, 1930. Boots was a 1948 graduate of Tell City High School. She had worked at General Electric for 37 years, retiring in 1988. She was united in marriage on December 12, 1970 to Joseph Buchanan. Together, they enjoyed camping and going to car shows. Boots was an avid reader and a collector of bedspreads and quilts. She took great pride in her home and loved to clean house. Boots enjoyed playing euchre, her dog, Missy and attending her grandchildren's activities. Surviving is her husband of 50 years, Joe Buchanan, Tell City; daughters, Betsy Anderson, Pam Litherland (Don), Jackie Hagedorn (Steve), Jeannie Stowe (Mike) and Robin Thomas, all of Tell City, Marcia Peter and Jo Lynn Olds (Kevin), both of St. Petersburg, FL; a brother, Pete Huck (Kim), Tell City; a sister, Judy Sanders (Jerry), Leopold and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Irene Terry, Margie Huck, Emma Lee Beard and Jayne Brown and brothers, Kenneth, Everett and Paul Huck Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM CDT on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Jerry Sanders will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00-7:00 PM and Tuesday 9:00 AM-12:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Condolences may be left at www.huberfuneralhome.net
