Bettye Brown

Tell City, Indiana Bettye Brown, 80, formerly of Tell City, passed away at 4:15 AM Tuesday July 31, 2007 at Newburgh Health Care in Newburgh, Indiana. Bettye was born October 19, 1926 in Rockport, Indiana daughter of the late James M. and Bessie (Small) Thomas. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Norbert E. Brown in 1986, a son, Larry R. Brown, two daughters, Sharyl Brown and Sandra Lee Brown, and several brothers and sisters. A homemaker, Bettye enjoyed crocheting and cross stitch. She is survived by: Her son, Ed Brown and his wife Loretta, Rockport, Indiana Nine grandchildren: Tonia Slunder, Dale Jackson, Terry Jackson, Matthew Brown, Christopher Brown, Tisha Masi, Lawrence Vessels, Elizabeth Ward, and Tina Brown Six great grandchildren Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday August 2, 2007 at Huber Funeral Home-Tell City Chapel. Pastor Harry McDonald will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at Tell City. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday at Huber Funeral Home-Tell City Chapel.
