Betty Seibert

Cannelton, Indiana Betty Sue Seibert, 83, of Bloomington, passed away February 19, 2020 at Hearthstone Health Campus in Bloomington, Indiana. She was born in Perry County, Indiana on February 10, 1937 to the late Walter and Ruth (Poehlein) Kuster. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Robert "Bob" Seibert, her brother, Donal Lee Kuster and grandson, Brandon Seibert. She was a 1954 graduate of Tell City High School and attended Indiana State University. She was united in marriage to Robert Seibert on August 31, 1957, at Evangelical United Church of Christ in Tell City. Betty was a medical technologist and retired in 1996 as Hematology and Blood Bank Supervisor from Bloomington Hospital. Betty enjoyed gardening, knitting, sewing and canning preserves and vegetables from her garden every year. She was member of First United Methodist Church in Bloomington. Surviving are her children, Karen Williams (David), Minneapolis, MN and John Seibert (Kelly) of Bloomington, IN; grandchildren, Mikaela and Christian Hunley, Jordan and Tyler Williams, Darian and Kya Seibert. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM CST, Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in Log Church Cemetery, near Deer Creek. Visitation will be Friday, February 28, 2020 from 3:00-7:00 PM CST and Saturday 8:30-10:00 AM at the funeral home.
