Betty Morris

Tell City, Indiana Betty R. Morris, 83, passed away January 25, 2021 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Tell City, Indiana on March 29, 1937 to Francis and Ella (Baumgart) Delaisse. Betty was a 1955 graduate of Tell City High School and had worked at General Electric. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Surviving are her children, Gayla Goetz (Norman), Owensboro, KY, Dean Morris and Ginger Morris, both of Tell City; sisters, Janice Davis, Tell City and Lynda Gordon, Lexington, Virginia; grandson, Christopher Goetz, Lewisport, KY and step grandson, Jeff (Cora) Goetz, Owensboro, KY; two great granddaughters and two step great grandsons. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Billie Dean Morris in 2015; her parents and sisters, Agnes Delaisse in infancy and Patricia Gordon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 10:00 AM CST at St. Paul Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Rev. Tony Hollowell will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00-7:00 PM and Thursday 8:30-9:30 AM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel.
