Betty Joyal

Tell City, Indiana - Betty R. Joyal, 74, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Insull, Kentucky, on May 19, 1938. Her parents were the late Rusaw and Laura (Daniel) Howard. Also preceding her in death were her brother and sisters, Virgil Howard, Charles Howard, Gladys Bailey, Paul Howard, Opal Rood and J.P. Howard. Betty retired from Tell City Chair Company and from Aleris. She enjoyed antiques, quilting and needlepoint. Surviving are her sons, Michael Anthony "Tony" Joyal (Cyntha Kay), Middleburg, Florida and Marty Howard Joyal (Beverly), Tell City; daughter, Paula Johnson, (Bobby), Tell City; brother, Luke Howard, Delaware, City, Delaware; grandchildren, Lisa M. Whoad, Mark A. Joyal, Sean M. Joyal, Ryan Johnson, Jeremie H. Joyal, Amie M. Coyle, Matthew Leonard; eleven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Visitation will be from 2:00PM until service time on Saturday. Billy Lain will officiate.
