Betty Jennings

Troy, Indiana - Betty J. Jennings, 79, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016. She was born in Tell City on June 24, 1936. Her parents were the late Walter and Anna (Kessens) Fuchs. Also preceding her in death was a son, Jason Jennings; sisters, Dorothy Tanner, Helen Doogs and Evelyn Fuchs and brothers, James, Edgar, Kenneth, Richard, Robert, Albert and Earl Fuchs. Betty married Geoff Jennings on March 13, 1973, in Huntingburg, Indiana. They were married for 43 years. She retired from General Electric in 1990 and had been employed at Farbest Foods for several years. Betty was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, wildlife and bird watching. She is survived by her husband, Geoff; grandsons, Gage Jennings and Jordan Jennings; sister, Ruth Tanner and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Sunday, April 3, 2016, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Sengole Thomas G. will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Saturday and from 10:00 AM until service time on Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
