Bessie Kincaid

Tell City, Indiana - Bessie M. Kincaid, 95, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015, at Oakwood Health Campus. She was born in Hancock County, Kentucky, on November 2, 1919. Her parents were the late Horace and Susan Francis (Snyder) Lain. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Herman Kincaid; son, Don Kincaid; sisters, Marie Boling, Lillian Dallie, Zula Northerner and Hazel Jennings and her brothers, Guy, Tom, Herb, Gus, Virgil and Carl Lain. Bessie retired from Commercial Filters, in 1982, after 18 years of service. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, planting flowers and spending time with her family. Surviving are her daughters, Janice Braun, Tell City and Connie Palmer, Troy; grandsons, Chris, Greg, Todd and Eric Kincaid and Jeff, Jim and John Braun; seventeen great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in New Cliff Cemetery in Cannelton. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time on Monday. Rev. Bill Reid will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Memorial Hospital.
