Bernita Mogan

Tell City, Indiana Bernita Mogan, 89, passed away May 15, 2016 at Golden Living Center Lincoln Hills. She was born in Mount Pleasant, May 11, 1927 daughter of the late Bertie and Lena (James) Murphy. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Charles Leonard Mogan, a brother in infancy Elvis, brother, Merton Murphy, and sisters, Lorena Melton, Hilda Schwartz and Geneva Mathison. Bernita formerly worked for General Electric and then for Lincoln Hills Development. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. She is survived by her sister; Norma Foertsch, Evanston and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 20, 2016 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Lamb Cemetery near Rome. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM Thursday and from 9:00 until 11:00 AM Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Lamb Cemetery.
