Barry Winkler

Troy, Indiana - Barry "Bear" Winkler, 58, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at his home. He was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on October 6, 1957. His parents were the late Arthur and Anna (Beckort) Winkler. Also preceding him in death was a sister, Edwina Winkler. Barry married Terri Sweeney on September 6, 1980, at St. Pius Catholic Church . He was a truck driver for Flash's Suzuki until illness forced his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with family, antique cars, and going to antique and steam shows and flea markets. Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Terri Winkler; children, Brandy Winkler, Troy and Danny Winkler, Troy; brothers, Keith Winkler (Diana), Rockport, Larry Winkler (Tammy), Grandview and Royce Winkler, Troy and grandchildren, Tanner Goffinet and Maci Winkler. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 16, 2015, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City, with burial in Calvary Cemetery in Troy. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday and from 9:00 am until service time on Friday. Rev. Sengole Thomas G. will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
