Barbara Whistle

Tell City, Indiana Barbara L. (Anderson) Whistle, 53, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at her home. She was born in Tell City, Indiana on March 14, 1964 to the late Jimmie and Eva Jean (Knott) Anderson. Also preceding her in death was her sister, Anna Anderson and brother, James Anderson. She was a 1982 graduate of Cannelton High School. Barbara was married on September 14, 2008 to Daniel Whistle. She enjoyed swimming, grilling out, coloring and being with her family. Surviving are her husband, Daniel Whistle, Tell City; three sisters, Karen Jarboe, Tell City, Donna Marsh Paris, Lewisport, KY and Kim Anderson, Corydon; two brothers, Bill Marsh, Troy and Karry Jo "Moe" Marsh, Cannelton; and her cat, Meanness. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Pastor Tony Kimbril will officiate. Burial will follow in New Cliff Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
