Tell City, Indiana Barbara S. (McBrayer) Fulton, 80, passed away April 14, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Lewisport, Kentucky on March 14, 1938 to the late Alton and Julia (Corley) McBrayer. Also preceding her in death was her sister-in-law, Rosie McBrayer. Barb was a 1956 graduate of Cannelton High School. She retired in 1998 from General Electric after 29 years, where she was chief union steward and vice president of their union. She enjoyed yard sales, visiting Florida beaches, going to Holiday World, boat riding, reading, cross word puzzles and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Barb was a fighter all of her life. She had fought a four year battle with cancer and had her strong sense of humor until her last day. She will always be remembered for her unselfishness, her heart of gold and will always be a brave, strong warrior. Survivors include her children, Lisa Aders (Mike), Tell City, Sherry Fulton, Tell City, and Jamie Waugh (Rich), Cannelton; grandchildren, Matt Aders, C.J. Morton, and Brodie and Ashlynn Waugh; a sister, Darlene Olberding (Bob), Cannelton; brothers, Melvin McBrayer and Randy McBrayer (Betty), Cannelton and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM CST on Tuesday, April 16, 2018 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in New Cliff Cemetery. Ben Hartwig will officiate. Visitation will be held Monday from 3:00-7:00 PM and Tuesday 8:00-10:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Relay for Life.
