Barbara Duthie

Leopold, Indiana Barbara Rose Duthie, 64, formerly from Tell City, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Aiken Regional Medical Center in Aiken, South Carolina. She was born in Tell City, daughter of the late Alvin Ransom and Mae B. (Guillaume) Ransom Peter. She was a quality control inspector and owner of Home Cleaning Service. Barbara was a member of Houndslake Country Club, enjoyed shopping and working in her garden. Barbara is survived by her beloved husband, David Alan Duthie; two daughters, Gretchen Donnelly Sheridan, Longview, TX, and Jackie Donnelly Spoon, Aiken, SC; step-daughters, Heather (John) Maher, Wharton, TX and Jennifer (Jimmy) Goodman, Houston, TX; step-son, Shawn Duthie, Wichita Falls, TX; sister, Ula Winter, Tell City; five brothers, Gary Peter, Indianapolis, Bill Peter, Branchville, Ronnie Peter, Branchville, Glenn Peter, Leopold, and Dwight Peter, Tell City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, November 8, 2012 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Brian Esarey will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Wednesday and from 8:00 until 9:15AM Thursday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel.
