August Kieser

Cannelton, Indiana - August G. Kieser, 94, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Perry County, on August 9, 1917, son of the late August F. and Anna E. (Thorn) Kieser. Also preceding him in death were two brothers and a sister in infancy. A 1937 graduate of Cannelton High School, August married Vertie V. Damin on July 13, 1966, at St. Michael Catholic Church. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and retired from Schwab Safe where he worked in maintenance. Private burial will be in New Cliff Cemetery. There will be no visitation or funeral services at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ.
