Annabel Purvis

Tell City, Indiana Annabel Purvis, 80, passed away Monday, August 4, 2008 at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born May 10, 1928 in Alton, Indiana the daughter of the late Albert W. East and Hazel (Birkla) East Conrad. Also preceding her in death was a brother Clarence A. East and a half brother Nolan Birkla. Pentecostal by faith, Annabel was a caregiver and enjoyed embroidering. She is survived by a step-daughter, Joyce Brown, Illinois, a brother Charles A. East, Springville, Indiana and several nieces and nephews including Donna Allinger, English, Indiana, who cared for her. Graveside services will be Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 4:00 PM CST at Jefferies Cemetery near Oriole, Indiana. Huber Funeral Home Tell City Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
