Tell City, Indiana Anna M. Doogs, 87, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2018 at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Perry County, Indiana on September 14, 1930 to the late Chauncey and Clara (Bruggenschmidt) Dauby. Anna was a 1949 graduate of Tell City High School. She was united in marriage on May 5, 1953 to Chester Doogs, who precedes her in death, just six months ago. Anna retired from General Electric in 1988, where she worked for over 30 years. She was member of St. Mark Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening and watching her hummingbirds, making crafts, canning and playing in neighborhood card games. Anna cherished her time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Stephen Doogs (Roxy), Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Dennis Doogs, Branchville, Angie Kleeman, Troy, Julie Dauby (Gerald), Tell City and Scott Doogs, Tell City; grandchildren, Chad Doogs, Andrea Doogs, Natalie Downey, Brandon Kleeman, Angel Rogier, Patrick Dauby, Paige Peter, Logan Dauby and Noel Doogs; eight great-grandchildren, with one due any day. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband Chester; son-in-law, Mark "Flash" Kleeman; grandchildren Jade Kleeman, Bryce and Eve Doogs; and siblings, Frieda Kleaving, Frances Theis, William "Bill" Dauby and Joe Dauby. A Mass of Christian of Burial will be at 10:00 AM CST Saturday, May 5, 2018 at St. Mark Catholic Church. Rev. Dennis Duvelius will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joe Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00-7:00 PM and Saturday 8:30-9:15 AM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice.
