Tell City, Indiana Anna H. Clark, 93, passed away at 12:50 PM Thursday August 3, 2006 at Vista Care Hospice in Evansville, Indiana. Anna was born June 20, 1913 in Perry County, Indiana the daughter of the late Harry and Lena (Thorn) Litherland. She married Harold W. Clark Sr. February 28, 1961 in Illinois. Harold passed away in 2002. Also preceding her in death was a son, Marvin ""Whitey"" Powell, a step son, Harold Clark Jr., a sister, Mary Frizzell, and six brothers, George, John, Clarence, Norman, Paul, and Harry Curtis Litherland. A beautician, Anna owned and operated Main Street Beauty Nook in Cannelton for many years. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 2939 Auxiliary and enjoyed playing cards, quilting, and sewing. She is survived by: Her daughter in law who cared for her, Roberta ""Birdie"" Powell, Tell City, Indiana A niece who cared for her, Nina Lemaire, Cannelton, Indiana A sister: Lillian LeMaire, Tell City, Indiana Two grandchildren: Dora York, Tell City, IN and Teresa Sterchi, Bowling Green, KY Five great grandchildren: Alecia & Nathan Ouellette, Kayla York, Austin & Megan Sterchi 1 step grandson, Brian Clark 1 step great grandson Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Sunday August 6, 2006 at Huber Funeral Home 1139 12th Street Tell City with burial in Greenwood Cemetery at Tell City. Rev. Brian Adkins will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 PM Saturday and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Sunday at Huber Funeral Home-Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association
