Angela Howell

Tell City, Indiana Angela Gayle Howell, 64, passed away on June 13, 2023 at Brickyard Healthcare in Tell City. She was born in Tell City on December 30, 1958, daughter of Cletus and Joyce (Sanders) James. A graduate of Perry Central High School, Gayle had worked as a caregiver. She enjoyed working puzzles, watching T.V., playing Yahtzee and crocheting. Most of all, Gayle loved to spend time with her family. Surviving is her husband of 30 years, Michael L. Howell, Tell City; father, Cletus James, Tell City; children, Jamie Roark (Nathan Lawalin), Gatchel and Dana Hubert (Lee), Dexter; brothers, Denny James (Sandy), Doug James (Nancy), all of Tell City; sister, Missy Noble (Tracey Thompson), Tell City; grandchildren, Terissa Cravens (Caleb), Makenzy Roark (Shane Braunecker), Haylee Lawalin (Chase James), Emalee Lawalin, Alyssa George, Dylan Walker (Sydney), Dale Hubert (Tara) and Sierra Hubert (Jake Turner); five great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her mother, Joyce James; a great grandson, Zachary Hubert and twin sisters in infancy, Joni Faye and Jani Kaye James. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM CDT on Friday, June 16, 2023 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Brian Esarey will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday and from 9:00 until 10:15 AM on Friday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Augustine Cemetery or Parkinson's Foundation.
