Amy Poehlein

Tell City, Indiana - Amy S. Poehlein, 39, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, with her family at her side. She was born in Tell City, Indiana on June 14, 1979 to Curtis Cronin, Sr. and the late Debbie (Lane) Cronin. Also preceding her in death was her brother, Jamie Cronin. Amy was united in marriage on July 5, 2003 to Zachary Poehlein. High school sweethearts, Amy and Zach were inseparable as they enjoyed camping, riding four wheelers, fishing and hunting. She lived for her family and worked as a caregiver and most recently for the U.S. Post Office in Lamar. Amy was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church where she was an assistant for the religious education classes. Surviving is her husband, Zach Poehlein, Sr., Tell City; her four children, Zachary, Jr., Zane, Jayden and Zander Poehlein, all at home; her father, Curtis Cronin, Cannelton; and a brother, Curt Cronin (Lori), Jasper, IN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CDT Monday, October 29, 2018 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Rev. Dennis Duvelius will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00-6:00 PM and Monday from 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church.
