Tell City, Indiana Amber Nicole Willis, 24, passed away on February 13, 2022. She was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on November 4, 1997, daughter of Pamela Faye (Goffinet) Wright and James D. Willis, her biological father. Amber was a 2016 graduate of Perry Central High School. A devoted mother to her daughters, Amber had worked at Masterbrand, leaving to take her current job at Marcy's Restaurant so she could spend more time with her girls. She was currently working towards earning her real estate license. Amber had a bubbly personality and got along with everyone. She enjoyed boating on Patoka Lake and attending concerts; looking forward to seeing Morgan Wallen in the spring. In her younger years, she participated in Horse and Pony Club with Perry County 4-H. Surviving are her daughters, Sophie Fullington and Brayleigh Taylor, both at home; her mother, Pam Wright, Tell City; father, J.D. Willis, Ferdinand; brothers, Brent DeVillez and Bryson Ridener, Tell City; sisters, Jessica Grossman (Mark), Leopold and Shaylon Hedinger, Tell City; step brothers, Aaron Wright (Jennifer), Jasper and Brett Wright (Haley), Tell City; nieces and nephews, Landon DeVillez, Mason, Gabriel and Brooklyn Grossman and grandparents, Sheldon and Linda Goffinet, Branchville. Preceding her in death was her step father, who helped raise her, Stanley Wright. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Pastor Bill NeSmith will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00-7:00 PM and Thursday 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Huber Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
