Alma Burnett

Leopold, Indiana Alma J. Burnett, 69, passed away February 14, 2018 in Mount Vernon, Ohio. She was born July 2, 1948 in Delbarton, West Virginia, daughter of the late Rusell and Irene (Hall) Caudill. Also preceding her in death was her sister, Aileen Poland and brothers, Ronald Caudill, Sr. and Frankie Caudill. Alma was Catholic by faith and she retired from the U.S. Post Office. She enjoyed woodworking, gardening, nature, her animals, politics and being with family. She is survived by her children, Erica Thomas, Fredericktown, Ohio and Scott Burnett, Helena, Montana; brothers, Glen Caudill (Shirley), Delbarton, West Virginia, Jerry Caudill (Bonnie),Columbus, Ohio, Paul Caudill (Kathy), Delbarton, West Virginia, and James Caudill, Columbus, Ohio and sister, Lottie Farley, Chapmanville, West Virginia; four grandchildren, Katelyn and Aaron Burnett and Justin and Mary Thomas. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday CST, February 16, 2018 at St. Augustine Cemetery in Leopold, Indiana. Rev. Brian Esarey will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Augustine Cemetery.
