Alice Harrison

Grandview, Indiana Alice M. Harrison, 91, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2007 at her residence in Grandview, Indiana. Alice was born in Perry County, Indiana on September 2, 1915, daughter of the late William J. Chapple and Henrietta Daum Chapple. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Taylor Stith, and Clarence Harrison, a son, Taylor Stith, Jr. and a sister, Evelyn Reed. Alice retired after several years of employment at Commercial Filters in Tell City and attended Chrisney Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, gardening, playing cards and was a NFL football fan. Alice is survived by one son, Russell L. Stith, Tell City, Indiana, two daughters, Joan Stith Fetz, Salem, Indiana, Janet Spencer, Grandview, Indiana, one sister Hazel Polk, Tell City, Indiana and five grandchildren, Cheryl, Chuck and Kevin Maxey, Tracy Graham and Amy Spencer and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Huber Funeral Home, 1139 12th Street, Tell City, Indiana with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Bob Duley will officiate. Visitation is from 3-8 PM Monday and 9-11 AM Tuesday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
