Alberta Sims

Tell City, Indiana - Alberta M. Sims, 89, passed away at 8:15 PM on Friday, May 7, 2010, at Oakwood Health Campus. She was born in Apalona on January 15, 1921. Her parents were the late Arnie and Maggie (Theiry) Sprinkle. In 1980, Alberta retired from the former Dauby's Department Store after 18 years of service. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and playing cards. Surviving: Son, Donald Sims, Tell City Grandchildren, Stacie Sims and Brian Sims Great Grandchildren - Brenna and Jacob Sims A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at St. Isidore Catholic Church, Rev. Guy Mansini, OSB, officiating, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Monday and from 8:30 until 9:15 AM on Tuesday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Isidore Catholic Church.
