Alan Young

Santa Claus, Indiana - Claude A. "Alan" Young, 88, passed away on September 14, 2016. He was born in Bedford, Indiana, on February 22, 1928. His parents were the late Claude A. Young and Agnes (Smith) Nicholas. Alan received a doctorate degree and had been a special education teacher and a work study counselor. He was a United States Air Force veteran and a member of Heritage Hills Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Sandy (Walters) Young of Santa Claus. There will be a memorial service, celebrating Alan's life, on Sunday, September 18, 2016, at Heritage Hills Baptist Church.
