St. Marks, Indiana - Al C. Bruggeman, 77, was in the presence of his loving family when he passed away on April 11, 2015. He was born on June 25, 1937. His parents were the late Clarence Bruggeman and Lorine (Gehlhausen) Bruggeman Zoglman. Al was a U.S. Army veteran. He was united in marriage to Claire W. Targett on August 23, 1958 at St. Joseph Church in Swedesboro, New Jersey. He was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church, Anderson Township Fire Department, American Legion Post #213 and Gold Wing Road Riders Association. Al enjoyed farming, hunting, riding motorcycles and spending precious time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Claire; son, Andy Bruggeman (Donna); daughter, Kim Barker (Tony); grandchildren, Kelly Litherland (David), Karry Labhart (Matt) , Andrea Polk (Shane), Bridget Lee (Mike) and Matthew Bruggeman; great grandchildren, Reese Aloysius Litherland, Mya Helen Litherland, Masen Claire Labhart, Bo Matthew Labhart, Piper Sue Labhart, Ryder Andrew Polk, Rae Marie Polk; sister, Millie Dauby; brother, Henry Bruggeman; half sisters, Elaine Z. Voges, Joan Fischer and Laura Zoglman; step sisters, Kathy Webb and Mary Knepper and step brothers, Ronnie Zoglman and Randy Zoglman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at St. Mark Catholic Church, Father Dennis Duvelius officiating, with burial in St. Mark's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday and from 8:00 until 9:15 AM on Tuesday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. The American Legion Post #213 will conduct military graveside rites. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark Catholic Church and Dan Peter Memorial Building Trades Scholarship.
