Mt. Pleasant, Indiana - Aiden E. Alvey,14, passed away on February 19, 2021. He was born in Newburgh, Indiana on April 18, 2006. Aiden was a freshman at Perry Central Jr.-Sr. High School. Aiden was your typical teenage boy. He enjoyed his welding class at school and had played football. A dare devil, he loved to ride his dirt bike and boating; he really just liked to drive anything. Trips with dad, breakfast at Denny's, learning to cook with his mom, tinkering in his grandpa's garage, his animals and camping were other things Aiden enjoyed. He was a happy go lucky kid that always had a smile on his face. He was respectful and loved by many. Surviving are his parents; mother, Karey (Goffinet) Kleeman (Brian), Mt. Pleasant; father, Tommy E. Alvey Jr. (Brooke Stunkel), Oakland City; brother, Trenton Hoesli, Mt. Pleasant; grandparents, Charlie and Diana Goffinet, Mt. Pleasant, Kenny Goffinet, Tell City, Tom, Sr. and Nancy Alvey, Oakland City and Sheila Gaynor, Tell City; great grandparents, Helen Volgemann and Sue Faulkenberg, both of Tell City and Giulia Alvey, Jasper; aunts and uncles, Holly Blandford (Danny), Rocky Point, Andy Goffinet and Amanda Goffinet, Tell City, Sandy Dupps (Craig), Oakland City, Creg Chenault, Indianapolis, Brett Kleeman (Kerri) and Brandon Gaynor (Lauren), Tell City; cousins, Brennah, Hallee, Jonah, Whitney, Cole, Jack, Landon and Maddy. Preceding him in death was his grandmother, Ga'net Alvey and great grandparents, GeNelle Skelton, Julius Volgeman, Herman and Alberta Goffinet. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM CST on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Pastor Josh Harris will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00-7:00 PM and Tuesday 12:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home. A mask is to be worn while visiting the funeral home/cemetery and social distancing is appreciated.
