Robert Raymond, Jr.

Cannelton, Indiana - Robert J. Raymond, Jr., 62, passed away on September 13, 2022 at his home. He was born in Evansville on November 3, 1959, son of the late Robert Jerome, Sr. and June Ruth (Lamb) Raymond. Robert worked in construction most of his life and always kept very active. Having lived in Florida, he hoped to return as he loved everything about it, especially the opportunity to go scuba diving whenever he wanted to. Robert enjoyed working in his yard, landscaping and woodworking projects. Survivors include his son, Josh Raymond, Boonville; sister, Debra Mulvey, Evansville; brother, Mark Raymond (Krystel), Evansville and his companion, Thelma Burden, Cannelton. Robert's life was cut short by cancer. Recently, he mentioned that he'd had a good life, was thankful that he had done most everything that he had set out to do except visiting Florida again. His family will celebrate his life, with a gathering of family and friends, in the near future. Contributions may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
