Mary L. Elder

Tell City, Indiana

Mary L. Elder, 71, passed away on September 12, 2023.

She was born in Evansville on February 21, 1952 to Otto August and Ann Catherine (Kleeman) Keller.

A 1970 graduate of Tell City High School, Mary earned her Bachelor’s Degree in nursing from the University of Evansville. She retired from Oakwood Health Campus and had worked at Perry County Memorial Hospital and the former Beverly Healthcare.

Mary was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed knitting and rug hooking, making all kinds of crafts then sharing them with others.

Surviving are her children, Erin Janes (Ben) of Evansville and Eric Elder of Tell City; grandson, Waylon Janes; brothers, Alan Keller (Leona), Newburgh and her twin, Joe Keller (Bev), Tell City.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Barry Elder.

A Memorial Mass will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 22, 2023, St. Paul Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary Cemetery.
