Ginny Dejarnette

Ginny DeJarnette, 59, passed away on October 7, 2023 at her home.

She was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on May 1, 1964, daughter of Richard and Mary Ann (Riley) DeJarnette.

Ginny was a 1982 graduate of Hancock County High School and worked at Southwire Aluminum.

A UK basketball fan, Ginny enjoyed camping, four-wheeler riding and watching her nephews at their sporting events. She loved her dogs and spending time with her family.

Surviving is her brother, Bobby DeJarnette (Jennifer), Evansville; nephews, Stephen, Devon, Colton and Bryson DeJarnette and great nephews, Kenny and Ike DeJarnette.

She is preceded in death by her parents and infant sister, Patsy Lee DeJarnette.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CDT on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in New Cliff Cemetery in Cannelton, alongside her parents.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 PM and Wednesday from 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
